Antique Silver and Crystal Whiskey Noggin or Water Jug

A large size whiskey or water jug having a sterling silver mount   with a hinged lid. The crystal body has a star cut base. 

Height 17.5 cms (to thumb piece). 

Diameter of base 12.5 cms. 

Contains 500 ml.

Literature: Usually jugs of this type are much smaller and intended for whiskey however this jug has a 500 ml capacity and may well have been for water.

Condition: This useful jug is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Underneath the glass has a little scuffing which is normal for an item of this age.
