The 6N1P offered here is NOS (New Old Stock). Near equivalent to E88CC or 6922 valves but with a higher heater current. This valve is used for the preamp and driver stages of the hi-fi amplifier model MC10-L by Yaqin, as the driver valve by Audio Research in their VS55 and VS110 amps and in the balanced input stage of the Almarro Reference Monoblock A340 amplifier. Also a very suitable replacement for the 6N1/6922 used in the Rode NTK and K2 microphones.

Current stock was made by Orzep in the Orel Plant, Russia, in the 80's, but sourced / purchased from the Ukraine.

NOS

Features include very low distortion and medium gain —optimized for line stages, internally shielded between sections, allowing its use at differing signal levels, higher anode voltage and dissipation rating than 6DJ8 types and larger cathode than 6DJ8 types, giving it longer life and more transient current capability.

A great value high quality double triode also suitable for use in any high end stereo designed around these particular valves. Note that these valves may need some time to burn in for optimum performance and will improve in performance and benefit from reduced noise / hum after the first ten hours or so in use. This is apparently sometimes due to hum transfer from the heater to the cathode which fades away as the heater forms up with extended use and is a known peculiarity of these valves.

Testimonial from the web, with thanks and acknowledgements;

''The 6N1P has a huge cathode and is known for its very high linearity....few audiophiles will find much to complain about with the 6N1P's low distortion and characteristically superb musicality and tonal balance.''

If you are ordering from more than one of our listings, note that we can offer you reduced combined shipping ONLY if you use "Buy it now" on all items then request a total from seller BEFORE making payment. We will then send you a combined shipping eBay invoice to pay. This is NOT possible if you have already paid for any of the items you are ordering.

Customers in Italy please note that due to the high number of orders that vanish and never arrive whilst in the hands of the Italian postal system, we will only send orders under £22 in value to Italy via standard untracked airmail. If your items total more than £22, please arrange to pay for tracked and signed shipping so that your order may be shipped safely and securely. If this option is not offered in the listing, please use the following listing to pay the extra cost of this.
Tracked & Signed supplemental charge to Italy

Also note that orders sent to Italy may take MUCH longer than eBays estimate to be delivered and, whilst some orders do arrive within a week or two, many orders sent to Italy are not delivered for three or perhaps even four weeks! This is entirely outside our control, as we ship within two working days and once your order is in the hands of Poste Italiane, there is nothing we can do to get it to you any faster.

Please DO NOT send messages with the title "Item not received" as these open complaint cases against us and damage our seller rating! Instead please use the general "Other" heading to ask about your delivery if several weeks have passed.

Lastly, all please note that when eBay asks you "Did the item arrive on or before" their estimated delivery date, it also damages our seller rating if you answer "No", so bear in mind that we always ship within two working days, so if you answer "No" because your local postal service (especially in Italy!) has taken weeks to deliver, you are punishing us, not them!

Thank you all for your kind consideration of the above and remember that we will always do our very best to sort out any problems or questions you may have related to your order if you contact us using the "Contact Seller" and (if the choice is given) "Other" ask a question of seller options.
