On April 8, 2008. TPK "Soyuz TMA-12" was launched from Baikonur. Commander Sergei Volkov and flight engineer Oleg Kononenko were on board, together with another party to the flight - the first South Korean astronaut, 29-year-old candidate of biotechnological sciences - a girl named Lee So-yeon.
