3 Large Banded eye agate beads.

 These are large beads ideal for jewellery making and craft projects .
They are cut from banded agate in such a way that they look like eyes.
Used throughout history eye agate is much treasured.
Sizes may vary slightly. Approx size 27mm. Just over an inch. Thickness 17-18mm approx.

Agate is formed when tiny quartz crystals build up in layers. The bands are a result of this natural process. Cutting in a certain way makes the bands appear in different ways. Agate has been cut to give eye agate for thousands of years and has a special place in many cultures. A stone of strength.
