Beatles 45 "FROM ME TO YOU / THANK YOU GIRL"  as  VJ 522
issued on the Vee Jay OVAL Label (1st PRESSING
... released on May 6, 1963Wonderful condition!

This is one of the FIRST and RAREST "BEATLE" 45s ever released in the USA!
Released in 1963 on the Vee Jay label, VJ 522 was second only to VJ 498 in rarity!

A GREAT Example of a VERY RARE RECORD!

WE NEVER SELL FAKES, so BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! So if you are looking for
AUTHENTIC versions of this record, or a source for any other BEATLES Vinyl
Records or CDs, shop with us here at THE ELECTRIC STORE USA.

This is one of the FIRST and RAREST "BEATLE" 45s ever released in the USA!  Released in 1963 on the Vee Jay label, VJ 522  was second only to VJ 498  in scarcity, both of which
had tanked when originally released! Interestingly in 1964, Vee Jay re-released "PLEASE
PLEASE ME" and "FROM ME TO YOU" together on the same record as Vee Jay 581. This
time it was a HIT RECORD that sold millions because "BEATLEMANIA" was in full force!

"REVISED" RETURN POLICY ...

We have REVISED our RETURN policy to the delite of many prospective buyers!  However if you look through many of the
current auctions appearing on EBAY, when it comes to HI-END items, you will find that we weren't the only sellers who had
refused any RETURNS. It should be noted that under the category of RETURNS many sellers clearly state:"SELLER DOES
NOT OFFER RETURNS. YOU ARE COVERED BY THE EBAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IF YOU RECEIVE AN ITEM
THAT IS NOT AS DESCRIBED IN THE LISTING"We now share that sentiment and we have listened to buyer's comments
who have actually stated to us that without a return policy, that was their reason for not purchasing certain items that we were
selling. So, we will now allow buyers to RETURN ANY ITEM, limited (as ebay states) to whether the item is AS DESCRIBED
IN THE LISTING. To define "AS DESCRIBED", once again we adhere to the rules of this site which do limit actual verbiage
within an auction with respect to WHAT THE ITEM IS, WHO THE ARTIST IS & SPECIFIC FEATURESAs for condition of
any item  (RECORD, OUTER JACKET etc.)  for example, in the case of a vinyl record, we will do our very best to describe
what play surfaces look like and post detailed photos to the best of our ability as amateur photographers. (Always remember
that describing the condition of a vinyl record is not an exact science and is based upon someone's visual examination and
mainly the opinion of an examiner. Industry standards are followed by all of our examiners). Labels will be best described by
posting detailed photos that would illustrate defects if and when they exist. As for an outer jacket or a picture sleeve, we will
inform buyers about any possible bends, folds, seem splits, writing etc. in detail. Photos posted for any possible defects will
probably be the best descriptive evidence that anyone would want. When it comes to items that are being sold as a ONE-OF-
A-KIND, RARE COLLECTIBLE, ARTIFACT or MUSEUM PIECE, these are sold based solely upon what they are and with
only limited consideration given to condition since they are unique pieces. These items would not fall under standard return
policy guidelines unless there are damages discovered upon arrival or an item received is not that purchased from the seller.
As stated in some of our previous auctions, we continue to insist that prospective buyers ask questions or request additional
photos (when unsure)  PRIOR TO PURCHASING OR MAKING ANY OFFERS. We want to always make certain that buyers
completely understand exactly what it is that they are buying.   (This is our newly revised RETURN policy. If any buyer feels
that we've either omitted something or have not explained something, we'd like to know how we can improve and if you have
any suggestions). Thanks for watching!

A GREAT EXAMPLE of a VERY RARE RECORD!

All VJ 522  records with OVAL labels (3 versions) are 1st PRESSINGS from May 6, 1963The [VJBRACKETS label was not introduced until January 1964.  In addition, the "BLACK LABEL"
version with "SILVER HORIZONTAL BARS" and [VJBRACKETS was also released in 1964
(not in 1963 as some had previously suggested) with THICK printing.

Keep in mind, only around 21,000 were ever pressed between it's 1st version in 1963 on the OVAL
label and later with a 2nd variation in 1964 using the BRACKETS label. When one considers that a
normal pressing for BEATLES 45s back then was in the hundreds of thousands, 21,000 is really
considered to be a mere sampling. How many have survived and in what condition?
(SEE PHOTOS

The VINYL play surface is beautiful and like most man made products, has insignificant marks here
and there. NOT perfect (as we would never claim) but a fine example of a 50+ year old vinyl; better than
many we have seen in a long time and certainly in great condition. The labels on the A-Side has a very
small amount of what appears to be the remains of glue residue (hardly noticeable in photos) obviously
left there from a previously applied price label (which can probably be removed without damaging the
label by one with such experience) OVAL  Vee Jay variation with some wear as shown in photos, but
this record should be part of any serious BEATLE  collection, since it's considered the SECOND rarest
Vee Jay BEATLE 45  record produced (2nd only to "PLEASE PLEASE ME / ASK ME WHY" VJ 498).

CAME WITH ORIGINAL VEE JAY SLEEVE:  VJ 522 was issued with the stock
Vee Jay sleeve from 1963 (VJ RS.01 as shown in photos).

CATEGORY:  Extremely "RARE" Collectible to be purchased as is and as described.

Now over 53 years old, these rare records are drying up rapidly from the collectors market.
In absolutely NM condition, which would be near flawless and almost impossible to locate,
this record has previously been known to sell for upwards of $4,500.00. However finding
one in that condition, may be quite a challenge, if not impossible. This one is great!

NOTE:  There are several BEATLES PRICE GUIDES out there that are now 8+ years
old and completely OUT-OF-TOUCH with the current values of this and all
VJ-498 45 rpm records.

Price Guides like GOLDMINE are alright for general music, however when it comes to
specific "Super Groups" like THE BEATLESTHE ROLLING STONESand others, they
are quite conservative and have a tendency to grossly undervalue most hi-end items.
Based upon the opinions of most knowledgeable experts and collectors, their
BEATLES pricing is usually not reflective of today's market values.

Please watch for SPECIAL SALES, or where it applies, please make your "BEST OFFER". Thanks for watching.
INSURANCE:  We do not typically provide insurance to any item due to the fact that this can amount to significant
added cost. However, this added service is available to any buyer requesting it prior to invoicing. If items are not
insured and are received damaged, immediately make the shipper aware of the damage. Once the item is packaged,
inspected by, and leaves the seller, one can only hope that it is handled with care which is why insurance is always
a good idea (if affordable and available in your country).
Grading "VINYL" records can at times be a bit difficult and is not an exact science since it is based upon someone's
opinion. Since opinions can differ, we want all buyers to know that whenever a purchase is made and the item is
received, if you feel that our listed grading (by seasoned professionals) differs from what you feel it should be,
ALWAYS contact us FIRST before filing a claim with Ebay. All items are inspected prior to packaging to insure that
our description is accurate. However, we're not perfect and once in a while, items with hard to detect defects, can slip
through the cracks, therefore friendly dialogue between buyer and seller is always the best remedy to seeking any
satisfactory solution. We will always make an attempt to achieve 100% customer satisfaction whenever possible.
Remember that if you are not happy, we have not done our job! Thank you for visiting our site!

It is important to point out that when sellers on ebay set a price for any item,
many factors are considered, one of which is the fact that the SELLER FEE
can be up to 10% of the Sell Price.  So, when you think that the price listed
might be higher than anticipated, please keep this added cost in mind.
Thank you for watching!

ALL ITEMS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKAGED!

NOTE:  For over 50 YEARS our reputation worldwide regarding the authentication of records by
THE BEATLEShas been unquestioned. Our descriptions are detailed. Our photos clearly illustrate
the item's characteristics! If there are any doubts, feel free to ask as many questions as necessary
or request additional photos. Any so-called "EXPERT" worth their salt, would be able to identify an
authentic item from a FAKE from any detailed photo.

All vinyl records are sold on the basis of their collectability, rarity, scarcity,
with special consideration in some cases given specifically to whom the
artist happens to be. Also factored in is physical and visual examination
of play surfaces, labels, outer jacket and the inner sleeve (where applicable)
and in most cases when there is obvious issues to the naked eye which would
most certainly affect play. This would be a part of the item's description (however
unless a record is of extreme rarity and does have value regardless of it's condition)
we try to avoid ever selling severely damaged records. We point out that "THE
BEATLES" are in a category of their own and in cases with many of their extremely
rare items, we have sold some of their records even when they did have surface
issues, however their value in any condition made these specific items retain a certain
value and collectability and a buyer would be made aware of it before we would ever
sell it. We do not play test vinyl since we have tens of thousands of vinyl records in
stock, making it impossible to play each of them. Please remember this when buying
and always ask questions prior to finalizing any purchase.
