Add artwork to your cake or other baked goods with edible printing! All you need to do is peel the image from its backing and apply it to your frosting.

Item:  A frosting sheet from Kopykake with a picture printed in edible ink, as shown in the listing images.   These high-quality frosting sheets are made to adhere to the frosting on your cake.  They do not require refrigeration.  The sheets are FDA approved, vegan, nut-free, and Kosher.  No cake is included.

Size: Your image will be on either a 8 inch by 10.5 inch frosting sheet (the size of a 1/4 sheet cake) OR a frosting sheet that is pre-cut as a 7.5 inch diameter circle. You will choose the size when you make your purchase. Most images we carry can also be printed as a set of 12 pre-cut circles that are each 2 inches in diameter (with no custom lettering added). If you don't see that option, please ask us about it.

Printing: Our inks are FDA approved, vegan, nut-free, and Kosher.  Our printer has never had contact with any other ink.

Personalization: Please send us your information about custom text you'd like added to your frosting sheet. If this is a design that can feature your photo, please send us your jpg file. If we don't hear from you about personalization in 24 hours, we will ship just the image to you, with no custom text added.

Turnaround Time: Your icing sheet will be in the mail to you by the close of the next business day.

How to Use: You will receive a printed sheet of instructions for applying your frosting sheet to your cake. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:

  • Store your icing sheet flat in its bag in a cool and dry place.  Do not refrigerate or freeze.  Use within 4 weeks to ensure bright colors.

  • Apply your icing sheet to your cake just before serving.  Remove your icing sheet from its plastic bag at normal room temperature, but keep the backing on.  Place it in the freezer for 30 seconds.  Carefully peel off the backing and apply the icing to a white, freshly frosted cake (buttercream, fondant, or royal icing work well).  If your cake’s frosting is dry, then dab the cake with a tiny amount of water before applying the icing sheet, to help it adhere.
