Up for sale is this terrific professionally restored,serviced,timed and re-pressurized Seiko,150 meter Men's 17 Jewel Diving Watch-Model 6309-7040, Famous "TURTLE" DIVER. It is in superb beautifully restored condition.   Manufactured in July, 1981 by Seiko Japan.

Original "large cushion case" is in super condition with no major dings or dents. Size is 44MM without crown.With crown 48MM..Length lug to lug  45MM   Lug width 22MM.   Original  Hardex Crystal is unscratched, in great shape'

**The watch has been left unpolished to add to the originality.

Dial - pristine new black dial,with light green/white markers. Seconds,as well as hour and minute hands are silver..Lume is excellent. 

AUTOMATIC JAPAN MOVEMENT 6309 The Seiko 6309  movement is a world class automatic movement. It has been used for years and built to last a lifetime.

Original Bezel ,rotates smoothly

Bezel insert -new,black with silver numerals

Crown-Original  is a screw in locking water- resistant type.

Band is a Seiko Z 22 rubber diving style, in very good condition.   .                                                                                                  The watch is signed on the dial, movement,rear caseback and rubber diver watchband.

This is a big and beautiful timepiece with a cushion style case,and has a very comfortable wrist feel.

This watch has recently been timed and serviced to restore it to near original condition.  It has been pressure sealed to make sure of water resistance.

It keeps very good time for a vintage automatic watch.

*BECAUSE IT IS A VINTAGE AUTOMATIC WATCH,THERE IS GOING TO BE  DIMINISHED RESERVE POWER(HOW LONG IT RUNS WHEN IT IS TAKEN OFF THE WRIST)

THIS IS A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH MOSTLY ALL VINTAGE AUTOMATICS..MANY NEW ONES CAN GET UP TO 40HRS RUNNING OFF THE WRIST. DO NOT EXPECT MORE THEN 8-12 HRS RUNNING WHEN OFF.  Please remember these are NOT  new automatic watches even though  they were serviced, you will have to gently shake the watch in a  clockwise or counter clockwise movement to get the rotor working properly.  This is especially true when the watch has not been worn for some time. reserve power has to build up for sometime to keep the watch running when not worn..If you have many automatic watches and don't wear the same one frequently, I suggest buying an automatic watch winder, this way your watch will always be ready to wear. **
