A dome topped walnut bracket antique clock by Junghans. This piece is fitted with its original Junghans 8-day mechanical movement which has been fully and comprehensively serviced and is in full working condition. The case is nicely carved with brass embellishments to face and is finished off with turned wood finial. The original brass and dial is highly decorated with gilt and scroll work and black numerals. Germany circa 1900. Usual signs of age and use, small section of old worm holes to top, completely treated and not an issue.
Fully overhauled and serviced at a cost of £500, the following works were undertaken to ensure many more years of service.
1. Stripped and cleaned all the movement parts to carry out the routine servicing work
2. Both Main Springs Replaced.
3. New tension spring for the lifting arm made from carbon steel
4. Rebushed a total of 6 holes using Bergeon bushes
5. Rebuilt and replaced two lantern pinions
6. Corrected misaligned teeth the 3rd wheel Strike side and straightened it, re-profiling it and the adjoining teeth to run properly in the depthing gauge
7. New Arbor on the count wheel.
8. Reshapd lifting wires to help improve the strike timing and performance .
9. Remove and restored the dial, dismantled it into its 7 parts to clean all surfaces, and re-silvered the copper chapter ring before reassembly afterwards

Dispatch Time
Your item will be dispatched, within 3 business days of receipt of your payment as promised. It will then be in the hands of the Courier/Royal Mail, who say the item should be with you within 7 days if you live in the UK or 10 - 21 days if you live outside of the UK. If it has not reached you in this time please contact us and we will try to resolve the matter.

If buying from overseas please be aware that an item not weighing a great deal will be priced according to its ' volumetric weight ' so the size of the box it is packed in will determine the cost of the shipping. Lost or Delayed Items
Proof of postage is obtained for EVERY item sold. Occasionally there can be legitimate delays by postal services. Many items I have for sale have untracked postal services however, for your added protection we can offer tracked postal services on every item for sale, please ask for prices.
If you purchase an item from us please ensure that you have made arrangements for the delivery of the item. Instances of lost or delayed items have been due to the buyer not being available at the time of delivery and then not collecting from the delivery service. If an item is returned to us due to non-collection from the buyer then the buyer will be responsible for payment of the postage costs even if a refund has already been given.
Returns
