True Vintage 1940s/ 50s Dress
by Prologue.
Tailored style, fashioned in attractive lightweight material ( feels like a silky parachute ) in a beautiful pink hue (like a vintage salmon pink. Exact hue can vary slightly from photos).
Semi- fitted bodice featuring cropped sleeves, V neck, fitted around waist, button down front. Skirt flares from natural waist with hip pockets and soft pleats.
Perfect for a vintage event, wedding attire or a special day or evening occasion.
This dress is in good vintage condition. There has been a mend at seam to each side of waist (see photos) and a hook & eye applied to waist. A few loose stitches.
Measurements
I would estimate this dress to best fit a modern UK10, depending on required fit. It might fit a curvy UK8 or hourglass 12. Please look at the measurements below:
Pit to Pit- up to approx. 20"
Natural Waist (measured flat)- 14.5" (max!)
Waist to Hem- 28"
Hips (measured flat)- Free
