U-HD UCPL 77 MM FilterThe ZOMEI U-HD Hardened Glass Double sided 18-Layer Multi-Coated Digital Circular Polarizer (CPL) Filter allows you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass and they also improve color saturation clarity and contrast. This threaded filter is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds for example. ZOMEI CPL do not affect the overall color balance of a shot and they will provide protection for your lens while shooting. Newly developed industry leading Double sided 18-Layer Multi-Coating yields an average light transmission rate of 99.5 % between 400 and 700nm (visible spectrum). These coatings greatly reduce reflections off the surface of the glass allowing you to capture more light in your photos. All ZOMEI multi-coated MC is applied in a furnace at high heat bonding the coating to the surface of the glass. It is far more durable than other coating techniques. The chemistry of the top layer is formulated not just to be more durable but to be resistant to oil stains. This means that finger prints and other oils are much easier to remove.

A polarizer is different than most filters in that it is composed of two pieces of glass, mounted independently inside a round frame so that one can be rotated relative to the other. As it is rotated, it increasingly cuts out glare and haze. With an SLR, you can actually observe this change through the viewfinder. Polarizes reduce glare from water, glass, or any non-metallic surface. You can also use a polarizer filter to darken blue skies. Polarizes come in two versions, linear and circular, and autofocus cameras will perform best with a circular polarizer.
