Item Description:

Unbelievable all-original condition with gorgeous plexi tone this is harmonically rich and blooms into musical overdrive. These Plexi panel late 60's Marshalls are the sound of Rock and Roll from Hendrix to The Stones to Led Zepplin and everyone inbetween.  This one is a great sounding very low milage head from the golden era of Marshall. Just amazing. 

This amp was shown to two of the most knowledgeable plexi Marshall experts on the planet, David Friedman (Friedman Amplifiers) and George Metropolis (Metro Amps) who both said it was the cleanest Plexi Marshall they had ever seen.   

Q: Can you find a beater with no tolex, cracked panel and changed parts for $5K, 

A: yup sure can.  This is not that, if you want the best this is it.  

Not in a rush to sell as I can't replace it.  Not cheap but the best usually isn't will only go up in value.

I bought this from the 2nd owner who bought it from his garage band buddy in 1970.  

He then gave up guitar and put this amp is storage for 40 years until I bought it from him.  I have kept it in storage until now.

Item Condition:

There are over 40 detailed pictures below that should answer all questions you might have.  The amp is currently sitting on David Friedman's bench at his shop in North Hollywood, CA

 (note: Dave is the goto guy of nearly every great guitarist and the designer of the highly sought after Friedman Amplifiers line and the guy Eddie Van Halen trusted to go through his legendary VH1 plexi head). 

 

I asked Dave to just go through everything and make sure all is tip top, verify everything, make sure the filter caps are good so when you get it there will be nothing to do but plug in and play.  

Only things missing are the original logo and the footswitch. 

(Will provide the buyer with an exact repro logo)
