Special infrared film with sensitivity stated by the manufacturer up to 820 nm and an ISO of 400 without filtering. Excellent tonality and resolving power of 160 Lp/mm. Contrast is normal to high.

Special AURA effects can be obtained by overexposing film.

Note: ROLLEI IR 400 can be inserted and removed from the camera in subdued lighting conditions. Complete darkness is not required!

Note: For strong IR effects, you must use a deep red or R72 infrared filter.

Note: To achieve strong IR effects we recommend exposing the film at a maximum of ISO 25 and using a Hoya R72 dark red infrared filter or deeper infrared filter. (Standard Red 25A filters are not recommended). Individualized exposure testing is necessary to realize optimal results.
