Ebay is full of copy/repro BBS chips.  All the ones you see at $50 to $100/per set are reproduction caps and not OEM.  OEM caps are made by BBS Motorsport in Japan.  Any gold and red cap you see with notation that it is made in W. Germany or anywhere but Japan is a F A K E!

This is set of NEW BBS center caps for just about any BBS wheel with a lug cover-type cap.  These 3-D looking BBS emblems have a diameter of 2.75 inches (70.6mm), and snap in the center of RZ, RS, RM, LM, and just about any other BBS wheel with a lug cover cap.  PN 56.24.073. The back sides have 3 shallow prongs that allow it to snap in to the center cap with a 49mm hole.   These have never been installed in a wheel. 

These will not perfectly fit some of the aftermarket billet RS hex caps because the 3 tabs on the back are longer than those found on the black and silver caps.  You will need to slightly modify your billet hexes to allow these to fit. -- just my experience  ---
