At auction is a Nikon 20mm f/3.5 Nikkor lens made by Nikon of Japan. This is a super-wide angle focal length lens. It was made for use with Nikon manual-focus film SLR cameras. However, it can also be used with many of the Nikon auto-focus and digital SLRs. Also, with adapters, it can also be used with many digital SLRs and digital mirrorless cameras. The screw-in filter size is 52mm. The glass in this lens is composed of 11 elements in 8 groups. The multi-coated lens glass has no scratches, fungus or haze. The aperture ring moves smoothly and easily with distinct click at the marked apertures. The 7 diaphragm blades are free of oil and grease. The automatic diaphragm is snappy and functions perfectly. The focus ring works well as it should with the closest focus being 0.3 meters (1 foot). The lens is in excellent cosmetic condition with only the very minor signs of use. There are no dents, dings, or brassing. All lens functions work perfectly. The lens comes with the original rear caps, the proper HK-6 hood and a Nikon-brand L37c (UV) filter. This is a wonderful super-wide angle lens that is no bigger that a standard 50mm lens. Very convenient and super sharp.
