Fjallraven Kanken 16L Bag
The Kanken bag was designed in 1978 with a design that prevents back problems, originally designed for school children but adopted by trekkers and outdoor adventurers everywhere.
The bags name means 'carry' in Swedish so as you would expect you have 16 litres of space here with a main compartment that has a pocket with a removable seat pad that doubles as a book pocket/ 13'' laptop sleeve....though we wouldn't recommend sitting on it whilst you have a laptop in. The front of the bag has an external zipper pocket so you can keep your sunglasses, wallet and keys in. The straps on the bag are a simple seatbelt style canvas that are easily adjustable and the carry handles at the top allow you to use it as hand luggage too. The bag is made from Vinylon which is resistant to wetness and dirt which is good to know whether you are a student or a frequent trekker.
