Gold Hair or Ear Ring, Later Bronze Age, 1200-800 BC.
Sheet gold wrapped around hollow (?) copper (-alloy) penannular ring, ends decorated with incised circles.
Such rings are variously interpreted as “ring money”, that is as a form of currency, or as Egyptian rings of the same design as “hair rings”.
Length: 2.4 cm.
