Excellent limited edition framed plaque by Wedgwood featuring George Stubbs frightened horse based on a painting by George Stubbs around 1765 which hangs in the Yale centre for British art but the original has the horse on the opposite side.

The plaque is produced in Wedgwood's famous black basalt and looks very impressive as you can see in the images. The plaque has superb quality of modelling and of a high standard as you would expect from a limited edition range. This plaque is  160 out of 250 and was produced in 1973

The plaque is set in an antique style flock mount as typical to Wedgwood of this period. There is a name plaque set to the front of the frame, and the Wedgwood mark is impressed to the reverse with and gold printed details. No box or paperwork present

Condition

Plaque is in very good condition no chips or cracks but the frame could do with a clean and has a few knocks to the corners.
