You Rarely see these. Maybe 2nd or 3rd year in production. The 8045 Die Cast Compound Lever Strainer is an early Tama design. Sometimes the simplest designs are the most efficient. This is one of those cases, imo. -Overall Great Condition!. Chrome is remarkable for its age, but does show slight cosmetic signs of age. Die Cast Hoops are in great condition, again only slight cosmetics. Muffler functions VERY smoothly!. There are NO real issues with this snare drum. -Could easily be a primary / # 1 Snare. ... ~ALSO INCLUDING: a 'spare' Compound Lever Throw-off!.. Its very hard to find just that one piece alone. . Also, a Vintage canvas snare bag purchased at the same time (mid 70s), The 'original' vinyl tuning key pouch, and the snare wires are brand new in package (PDP) w/ straps..
