Made in Japan in 1966 by Alps, of all lithographed tin construction, with Batman having a plastic head. Measures 8 1/2 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches tall, not counting the antenna. The paint shows some scuffs and scratches (mostly to the underside) with a bit of spider webbing to the hood. The light blue transparent plastic wind shield has no cracks or chipping and there are no blemishes to Batman`s head. The toy is complete and original with a great working friction motor, featuring 2 speed shifting. This is known as the Black Knight, with with the bats on the basic black. The car`s antenna, with a cord or string tied to it, can be pulled into second gear as the car "motors" forward. Unique and scarce, this Batmobile will fit nicely into any Batman, automobile, or Japanese tin toy collection.

Due to the many curves of the metal, and shiny black paint, there are a lot of extra shine and glare reflections!
