A stunning rare signed publication titled THE AFRONAUTS from the fantastic CRISTINA DE MIDDEL based around her amazing AFRONAUTS photography project for which she was nominated for the Deutshe Borse Photography Prize back in 2013.  The Afronauts project uses the Zambian space programme in 1964 to create striking imagery combining myth and truth, reality and fiction and remains one of the most interesting photography projects of the last decade.  The book is beautifully produced and includes amazing imagery, various esoteric inserts and lots of other curiosities.  This copy is from the second edition of THE AFRONAUTS which was published in a limited edition of 1500 of which only a small number were signed. This example is in excellent condition and will make a great addition to any collection.
