Offered here is this ultra rare model and diorama of

The THING

The diorama depicts a scene from the 2011 movie THE THING starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton, Ulrich Thomsenof.  The movie was a prequel to the John Carpenter's 1982 the Thing from another world.

At 1/8 scale the two figures stand 9 inches tall and the shelf is 11 inches tall. The base comes in three parts and together measures 17 inches wide and xx inches deep.

You get everything you see in the photos, the female and male figures, the shelf unit with canned goods, the sink, fire extinguishers, the split face creature figure, the burst of fire from the flame thrower and the name plate

Lots of detailed painting.

This model/diorama is extremely detailed. Many hours were spent hand painting the figures to bring out the most detail the model had to offer.

The figures are glued to the base then screws were used to make a more secure mounting.

The base comes in three separate sections which you can glue together if you wise. 

The burst of fire from the  flame thrower will have to be glued in place after the base set up.
