DescriptionAn original Georgian brooch, carved from a piece of mother of pearl, in the shape of a hand, with a pointing finger. Nice detail to the hand and fingers.
With an openwork cuff, in gilt, and with a little stem winding up through the hand, set with enamel flowers (some damage).
Pinning on the reverse. Size 1.9 x 0.4 inches (48 x 10mms). Weight 5.5 grams and in very good condition. Circa 1820. A charming piece of antique jewellery of this period. (51444zhe)
