WWII USMC M7 Leather Shoulder Holster for Colt M1911A1 45acp Pistol - Marked USMC Boyt 45 - Nice Condition

Up for auction is a WWII USMC M7 Leather Shoulder Holster for the Colt M1911/M1911A1 Pistol.  This holster is used, see photo's for Condition. The leather is soft & supple.  All of the stiching is intact and not fraying.  The holster has darkened, but retains most of it's rich russet brown color.  It is marked "USMC  Boyt 45" on the rear, the markings are readable.  The shoulder strap is in nice condition, some wrinkling but no cracking or crazing.  The second, chest strap, is missing.  All the snaps and fasteners are in good functional condition.  A nice collectible example of the WWII era dated shoulder holster.  USMC marked M7 Holsters are scarce.  This one will not last long.  

These holsters were used by officers, tank crews, pilots and aircrews during WWII to carry the Colt M1911 or M1911A1 .45acp Pistol.  

 WWII Shoulder Holsters are getting very hard to find.  This is a Good Condition "USMC Boyt" M3 shoulder holster that has aged well and deserves to be in your WWII Collection.
