G-Core Shaft

The G-Core’s carbon fiber extends the first 7 inches of the shaft. This stabilizes the front-impact area of the shaft for more control and reduces the inconsistencies found in traditional maple shafts.

Triple-Layer Design

The G-Core’s triple-layer design reduces vibration and minimizes shaft distortion. This increases radial consistency, which promotes enhanced accuracy and stability.

CT Technology

The G-Core utilizes our proprietary CT Technology (Carbon Tenon): a carbon fiber ferrule core that results in greater strength, efficiency and precision. This results in a stronger ferrule assembly with maximum impact properties and enhanced feedback. The red dampening device at the base of the ferrule helps reduce shaft vibration upon impact.

Radial Consistency

Radial consistency is the shaft’s ability to perform the same way on every shot, regardless of its orientation. The carbon fiber core technology found in the G-Core makes it one of the most radial consistent shaft on the market. The G-Core will consistently provide a straighter cue ball path, minimizing the need to compensate for spin and throw.

Each Everest laminated tip is individually tested for consistency, hardness and quality. It shapes like a hard tip, hits like a medium, but has the control of a soft tip. Everest® tips have 10 layers that include a red warning layer to indicate when it needs replacement.

• Only the finest grade materials are purchased which are then inspected and tested for quality and tolerances before being used.
• The wood to wood joint with surface contact delivers a natural feel and solid hit. Other joint options are available on other models.
• Heavy gauge rolled stainless steel joint pin provides longer lasting thread life and rust resistance.
• Three-piece butt construction helps provide straightness for the lifetime of the cue. Stains are hand applied which provide for accurate details and color consistency. Precision milling on rings and inlays mean tolerances to within .001 of an inch. The pieces are then hand glued to ensure a perfect fit.
• Wrap is 100% Irish linen which is tightly wound, pressed and then lightly coated to ensure perfect fit, a smooth feel and aids in absorbing hand moisture to ensure a consistent grip.
• The butt cap is made of an impact resistant resin to aid in protection of the butt sleeve of the cue and is double-bonded by an interchangeable weight bolt system that allows you to adjust the weight.
• Shafts are hand selected from North American hard rock maple and are carefully picked for straightness of grain, proper moisture content, and white color. Shafts are turned four times to unsure stabilization, straightness.
• Five coats of a high luster clear urethane finish top off a great looking cue and provide scratch resistance.

McDermott Cue Manufacturing will warrant this pool cue to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the entire lifetime of the cue. The warranty applies to all parts, including warpage, and normal wear on replaceable items such as: tip, finish and wrap. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. If your cue has a defect covered by this warranty, McDermott Cue will either repair or replace your cue, at our option, without charge. This warranty will be void if the cue has been subjected to any damage caused by abuse or mishandling. This warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original owner, provided the claim is accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt from an authorized McDermott dealer. The warranty registration card must be registered at time of purchase.

McDermott does not warrant its product against:
• Normal wear and tear including tip, finish, and wrap
• Misuse, abuse or mishandling
• Modification or improper maintenance performed by third parties
• Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperature or humidity

Form of Payment: First and foremost, we accept PayPal.  It provides the fastest method of clearing payments as well as added insurance for both buyer and seller. 

Pool Cues: Specific Weight Request:  In some cases we can adjust the weight of a pool cue to your liking prior to shipping (18 to 21 oz).  When submitting payment via PayPal, you can place your weight request in the "Message to Seller" box.   If you missed it, you can always contact us right after payment via eBay “Messages-Contact Seller”.  If you do not specify a weight, you will generally receive a cue around 19 oz unless otherwise requested.  Cue Tip Change:  In many cases we can change the tips on our cues to one of your preference.  We stock a wide variety of the most popular tip brands.  There will be an up-charge for the labor and cost of tip.  There may also be a 1 to 3 business day delay in shipping to conduct the necessary labor.  Please contact us prior to purchase for price/tip availability.

Continental USA Shipping:  In most cases we ship via USPS with delivery confirmation or UPS ground with tracking.  We usually ship your order out within 1 business day of a cleared payment.  Generally, if you pay before 1 PM PST on a business day, the item will ship out same day!  Otherwise, it will ship out the next business day or as described in the listing.

USPS Info:   We will provide a delivery confirmation number on each shipment.  USPS may not necessarily "courtesy scan" your item at each location. Therefore, it may appear that it is not moving, but that may not be the case.  Parcel Post shipments won't be "courtesy scanned" at all and will only update once it's actually delivered.  Below are estimated shipping times provided by USPS.  SHIPPING TIMES ARE NOT GUARANTEED and may have delays especially around holidays or severe weather.

• Priority Mail: 1 to 3 business days
• Express Mail: 1 to 2 business days (depending on time of day package is dropped off)

International Shipping:  International shipping rates are quoted using USPS First Class, Priority and Express Mail International.  International USPS delivery times are ESTIMATED 6-14 business days (depending on your country's mail forwarder and Customs Department).   Some Middle Eastern, African, South American and Island Nations may take longer.  Some countries may charge an import tax (duty).  Since each country's tax rate is different, this tax or any other tax is buyer’s responsibility (ask your Customs Department for more information).
