Why it is VITALLY IMPORTANT that you remove ticks correctly and as soon as possible?

The internet is full of horror stories showing how terrible and complicated Lyme disease can be, for example see this short DVD trailer on www.bada-uk.org/products/dvd.php “One Tick Away”.

Ticknology – understanding how ticks tick:

Borreliosis bacteria (Lyme disease) live in the digestive tract of infected ticks.

The tick can regurgitate these microbes into its host at any time, but does so especially when stressed or squeezed! Even during the normal feeding process, to keep the host‘s blood flowing, the tick will regurgitate into its host after 8-24 hours. (Bon appetit!)

That explains why it is essential to remove ticks quickly, correctly and without stressing themBut everybody who has suffered a tick-bite knows how big a problem it can be to remove them properly, calmly and without delay. The patented new TickCard offers the all-in-one answer: it removes ticks swiftly, correctly and without stressing the tick, and it is perfectly sized to keep easy available in a bag or wallet. Developed in co-operation with biologists, the TickCard is perfect for removing ticks AND it helps prevent tick disease!

During the summer months, the sensible choice is to simply keep a TickCard handy.

This well tried tick removal tool received excellent feedback from experts and outdoor enthusiasts alike! In Germany over two million were sold in one year alone.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Ticks can  carry dangerous microbes in their saliva and body fluids.

Do  not squeeze, stress or burn a tick – it may regurgitate or put more  saliva into you.

•  Do not use petroleum jelly, oil or any chemical products before removing  it.

• Never pull or twist  a tick as its mouthparts may break off and remain in the skin.

Avoid  touching removed ticks. Dispose of ticks safely. Do not squash them  between your finger nails!

Conventional  methods of removing ticks can be dangerous!
Experts recommend to remove  ticks safely, quickly and correctly.
Biologists found that squeezing, twisting,  burning or in any way stressing a tick increases the risk of it injecting harmful  agents into the bloodstream of its host, thus potentially causing disease.

Developed in co-operation with scientists  and doctors specialising in tick-borne diseases, the patented  TickCard™ utilises an entirely new principle: ticks are removed safely and easily  without the use of force! This method helps avoid ticks releasing their dangerous  microbes into the bloodstream!

Don't  delay proper removal:

  • To minimise the risk of dangerous infections remove ticks safely,  correctly and as soon as possible!
