Naqshbandi Sufi Prayer Beads (Tasbih)

Handcarved 6x2mm prayer beads crafted by master artisans from Ebony wood (Jalamban) and refined Copper. Ebony Wood is highly valued and believed to have protective qualities.

This Tasbih is organized in the Naqshbandi Count of 200 beads (7-3-30-30-30-33-33-33. the 200th bead is the Imam), for both Sunnah Dhikr and the daily Wazifa, Wird, and Naqshbandi Dhikr. Note: Some Naqshbandi Tasbih bridge the 30-30-30 section into 60-30. It has been divided but differentiated here by different Dividers. Tassel is black and is knotted at the end in the Persian tasbih tradition.

The Naqshbandi are one of the largest and oldest Sufi Orders, with its formations beginning in the Central Asian region of Bukhara. They are known for their Dhikr ceremonies and intense focus on personal spirituality. Many Naqshbandi tasbih are handmade by masters or passed on from Sheikhs to their students. Thus there is a very personal essence to such prayer beads that denotes the individual level of study and spiritual trajectory.
