Vintage Royal Mini Five Calculator made for Imperial Typewriter Company Ltd. Leicester, England.

Small calculator measuring 158mm long by 88 across by 38mm tall.
Beige top and dark brown base.
Some minor use marks/scratches, one tiny spot of what looks like ink/biro on the side, some faint scratches to the screen which can be seen when angled to the light, some discolouration to the bottom of the 0 button & decimal point button and some tarnish to the battery springs. Not rusty just dark. One spring is slightly misshapen but this does not affect the operation/battery placement.
Some dust in the recesses. Works well.

The Imperial Typewriter Company was a British manufacturer of typewriters based in Leicester.
The company was founded by H. Moya, an engineer who lived in England. After first building the Moya typewriter, he set up the Imperial Typewriter Company in Leicester. It stopped manufacturing typewriters when personal computers became popular causing typewriter sales to fall.
The company was acquired by Litton Industries in 1966, and gradually introduced Royal Typewriters Company models. The manufacture of typewriters ceased at Leicester in 1974.
