This Beautiful Japanese Tobacco pouch features colorful embroidered and woven silk in rich muted colors with images of Samurai's in full armor for battle. Gold thread is woven throughout the pouch. It has a silk interior, floral design with double interior compartments.  Silver engraved interior clasp (kanemono), that is signed.  

Netsuke is carved in relief on one side, made of 2 pieces.

5.85" wide x 9.5" long.

Meiji period circa 1870.

There are some signs of wear and tear on the pouch, mostly the edges.
