Yamaha Nouveau 4x14 Copper snare in very good condition. These awesome snare drums are no longer in production. Still has its Yamaha factory snare side head, and with a nearly new Remo Diplomat coated on the batter side (which is perfect for a side piccolo snare.)

Given the price-point on most copper snares--around $600 and up--this one avoids nosebleeds. A great addition to one's bevy of snare drums where it will occupy a spot all its own, and a great player. 

I've played a lot of copper snare drums, and this is the best "pop" and rimshot "crack" model that I've found. Great as a main snare for mid to high tunings, but at its very best on the high end for a side/piccolo snare that doesn't choke out (which is how I used it).

There are some light scratches in the clear coat/anodized surface (not sure which it is) around some of the lugs, most likely from when they are losened to change the batter head.  I included two photos of the shell where there is some evidence of rubbing. Fortunately, this copper shell puts off such a shine that these are virtually impossible to see unless very close to it.

My favorite copper snare, but I'm paring back on my snares...so this one has to go.

I am selling this and a wide variety of other percussion items in excellent used condition. Some have merely been sound-checked and others hardly played, but technically these are used since they've been owned.  

Although I have indicated 3 days to ship, my practice is to ship the day after your payment is made.  Some cymbals may have some stick marks and fingerprints from handling. Only wood tip sticks have been used with this cymbal.
