Offered for sale is my 2013 Altra A1 kit car.  It is exact to an Ariel Atom 3.   It is titled as an Altra A1 kit car.  Altra imports is no longer a viable entity and these kits were limited and are no longer being sold.  It is equipped with a K20Z3 Honda motor from a reportedly 2012 Honda Civic SI.  It was represented to me when I bought the motor that it had about 22000 miles on it.  It was purchased with the LSD 6 speed transmission.  I cannot prove and have no definitive documentation on it or the transmission.  I was told the transmission was recently overhauled by Automaster Motors in Shelburne Vermont.

Now on to the items that I can attest to.  The ECU has a Hondata K-Pro installed in it.  It can be easily tuned from your laptap with this feature.  The ECU is OBD2 compliant with scanner plug.  The headers and muffler have been powdered coated black outside as well as inside.  It is equipped with Sparko Isetta Gara wheels and Dunlop Direzza tires.  The fronts are 195/50r/15  and the rears are 215/40/17.  The car is equipped with Wilwood brakes all around.   The front calipers feaure 4 pistons and the rear have 2.  It is equipped with 11 inch rotors.  Schroth 4 point harness for both seats.  Autometer Gauges in the dash.  Options included on the car are the windshield kit, front tow hook, passenger footrest. Insane Shafts have been installed on the car.   Bilstein shocks and Hypercoil springs on the inboard mounted shock system.  The car has never been tracked but is certainly equipped and capable.

The car has 1703 miles on it as this is written.  12/7/16  The tires must be over 90%.

The VIN was state issued and vin tag applied to the chassis as well as stamped in the frame.  I have the title in hand.

You should have no issues registering this car.   I transferred this car from Vermont to Florida as a passenger car and it was accomplished in 20 minutes.

Also "Grundy" should insure this car as they did for me.  This car is titled as a homebuilt/ kit car and insured as such.  Some states I've heard have prohibited insuring an Ariel Atom.  Some states also have revoked registrations of Ariel Atoms I understand.  Once again this car has no documentation whatsoever of any relationship to an Ariel Atom.

That being said, this car does share every dimension, weight, height, all weld points, all physical properties of an Ariel Atom 3.  All parts and pieces are interchangeable with an Ariel Atom 3.  All welds are factory welds and resemble in every detail a factory supplied Ariel Atom except in name.

Once again this car should transfer as any passenger car would transfer.  The VIN tag is very easy to find and very easy to read and verifiable. You will however not find a Car Fax report on this car.  I tried.  Car Fax will not recognize anything without the normal 17 digits.  This car has a state of Vt. issued VIN which is only 8 characters.

I insist and please feel free to inspect this car before you buy.  If you're out of state secure a local mechanic to check this out and verify anything about this car.

This is such an awesome motor vehicle.

There's only one thing I might consider as a trade and that would be a late model low hours dual console boat in like new condition located in Florida or close.

Thanks for looking.  Please understand that I have represented this car as fairly and honestly as I can.  I think I've covered almost anything that could be a concern or question you might have, but certainly ask me.  I built it.  I have an answer.   If I don't respond to a request it is because I think it is trivial or I may believe I'm dealing with a dreamer or a tire kicker.  Please save us both the time.  All the photos were taken 12/7/2016
