A very fine Jambiya dagger of Turkish or Kurdish origin with finely forged and robust wootz Damascus blade. The handle is buffalo horn with metal (coin silver?) fittings; green stone finial on top. The scabbard is leather bound wood with matching fittings. Genuine 19th Century jambiya with potentially older blade. In good antique condition commensurate with age.
