Buyer is purchasing 6 cuttings of Hardy Chicago at least 8 inches in length. Cuttings will be a mixture of both end tip and thicker center cuts. Cuttings will be wax tipped to protect from desiccation.

On our farm, we grow this variety for its cold hardiness and its vigor. Our trees have survived negative 15 degrees Fahrenheit and went on to grow six feet and ripen figs the following summer. No other variety we have has the same hardiness and growth pattern.

This variety is recommend for zones 4 and warmer. Hardy Chicago can die back every year and still ripen figs in most zones.

Hardy Chicago is a great first time variety to propagate. The cuttings are high quality and forgiving.
