This listing is for a Pair of Schulmerich Mono 6550/KT88 Tube Amplifiers Models 6-228G & 6-228H EXC Sound The amplifiers are in good working condition and sound excellent. They had a very well qualified technician look at them and  had a couple of filter caps replaced. They sound great and are of the better sounding amps of that era that I have listened to. The amplifiers sound similar to Allen Type 75 amps, Grommes 260A amps and are quite musical in my opinion. The amps were made by Schulmerich for their Carillons.

The Tube complement of the amplifiers are a pair of 6550 (or KT88 could be used) output tubes a pair of 12AU7 tubes and one 12AX7 tube. 

The cosmetic condition of the amps is described in the many pictures that I have taken of the amps.

Due to age the items are being sold AS IS.
