We are selling this stunning lightly used 2015 Pinarello Prince 55cm frameset. You will not believe the incredible New Campagnolo Chorus EPS V2 build we put together at an unbelievable price. Our mission at MOB Cycle Works is to locate and rescue unused, new, and previously owned frames, bikes, components, and accessories in pristine condition so that we may get them out on the roads doing what they do best. We source components that will make the bike a truly custom
beauty that will be one of a kind. Money does not purely motivate us, but
by getting an amazing rig in the hands of a rider who never thought they would
be able to have such a custom build. Below, you will find the complete
description of the bike and the build kit. We may be able to change out
stem, pedals, handlebar, and crank sizes so please ask about options if you are
interested.
Please note: The Campagnolo Zonda G3 Road Wheelset was used
for demo bikes in and is still in perfect
condition!
Here is some
general info that we gathered:
The Pinarello Prince has returned to the Pinarello lineup for 2015. It is designed like a Dogma but has its own feel.
The Prince utilizes Torayca 60HM3K carbon-fiber plies. They use more to get the stiffness up to the Dogma's levels, and that means a minimal weight gain, however Dogma geometry still.
Onda stays and fork absorb the road vibrations. This bike is stiff, thanks to Pinarello's asymmetric designs. Comfortable, thanks to Onda, and the geometry is balanced between stability and agility.
The Think2 cable routing can handle both electronic and mechanical shifting internally. The aero carbon-fiber seat post, 300mm long with 25mm setback is designed to fit a Shimano Di2 battery inside it, while the seat post is where you'd house a Campagnolo EPS battery. The bottom bracket is threaded to the Italian standard because that's where Pinarello's heart lies and they believe the performance is best. The steerer tube is a tapered 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" to balance light weight with steering precision.
We always stress and point out that this is indeed a REAL PINARELLO and we can provide a picture of the serial number for your reference for serious buyers. We do not sell fakes, ever!
This frame was built as a complete bike and used for around
800 miles. The only blemishes we found
are some tire scuffs on the inside of the rear stays and some scratches on the
inside of the fork legs from tire debris.
We have touched up the marks with paint so they are not noticeable. The frame is of course 100% structurally
sound, and will be ready to rock out of the box!
Please note: The sale does NOT come with the US Power Cable for the battery charger. So, you will need to purchase that separately.
Please Note: The bike will NOT be built-up, so you will need to find your favorite bike shop
mechanic or DIY! In addition, any mirror
build items needed by the mechanic that were not included in the detailed list
below will be the buyer’s responsibility unless something below is an unusable
component due to not matching what is needed or an item was errantly not
included during the packaging process.
