This is one of our staff favorite click-and-pawl reels currently made, perfect for spey anglers pursuing steelhead, salmon, and large trout all around the world. The Abel Classic Series Spey Reel pairs perfectly with spey rods in the 6-10 weight size range, accommodating skagit, scandi, and traditional spey lines in the 400 to 700 grain range. This reel comes in Abel's beautiful Chrome Steelhead finish and has a solid (not ported) spool. These are hard to come by in this configuration!
