As can be seen in the photos, the system comes complete with the battery cover. This is the first version of the game boy pocket which was made without the LED battery indicator. It got some minimal signs of wear due use and some scratches in the left side of the screen cover, aside from that it's working just fine and all buttons work as well. It was tested with a japanese version of Wario Land (game sold separately).
