THIS IS TRULY A UNIQUE, ONLY KNOWN STAR U.S. TEST NOTE!

"THE BLACKOUT NOTE" Note
Fr. 1925-L* $1 1999 Federal Reserve Note.
Certainly no note such as this has ever before been seen outside the BEP, as far as I, nor anyone who has come forth knows. Many years ago, a story appeared in Coin World which stated that this note was never intended to have undergone any of the normal printing processes. Per the story a Treasury official confirmed the item as a test note which is produced to make sure the face plates are completely inked before starting a run. The four blank squares are portions of the plate that require no ink as no intaglio print is located in that area of the plate. The fact that this error occurs on a replacement note certainly adds to the mystique on how this was released into circulation given the fact that stringent quality control measures are in place within the BEP. I am offering serious collectors a one-of-a-kind (known) chance to send me their BEST OFFER.  I do not expect to achieve the asking price, but how do you price a note that is much rarer then double denominations? (A.K.A. - The King(s) of Errors, when multiple exist?)

POPULATION: 1 of 1
VALUE: Not even the Smithsonian has one!
GRADE: PCGS AU 50 PPQ !!!

Little known fact.... It was named THE BLACKOUT NOTE
Because....The finder of this, originally RAW treasure originally looked at it and thought it looked like a house with the lights out!

Sometimes the best treasures come raw to start. My local banker has never handed me a graded note!  So, watch what is out there, and do be careful as there are scammers and weirdos out there selling faked errors, or copies even! This is also the only known black ink on face example, in addition to being a star replacement note. If your looking for great -greenback/flood/test notes - which are all variations of green ink on the reverse, I have several Amazing examples at affordable, realistic prices. Notice the holder, instead of just saying test note, as simple green floods/tests don't say this.....Type 1 All four patterns present! This is the real deal, so don't be fooled by imitators, as test notes do occur before every run, but are to be destroyed. There are a number of green flood test notes out there, and they don't have to say test flood note if the back is Green! Many expert collectors do keep their notes raw, and it is merely an eBay formality when the price exceeds $2500 that they be slabbed/graded by PCGS or PMG. I've found numerous times that even expert grading companies make errors as well, but this is the system we work within. Please don't hesitate to ask me questions.
