Empi 22-2981 Front Disc Brake Kit With New Stock Height Spindles. The Stopping Power And Safety Of Disc Brakes In A Bolt-On Kit, Including New Stock Height Ball Joint Spindles. Converting Your 1966 Thru 1977 Vw Bug Or Ghia From Drum To Disc Brakes Is Made Simple With This Conversion Kit.

New Stock Height Disc Brake Spindles (Driver Side Equipped With Speedo Cable Hole)
Disc Brake Rotors With 5 X 130mm Porsche & 5 X 4-3/4" Chevy Lug Bolt Pattern (Porsche 14mm Threads / Chevy 12mm Threads)

Volkswagen Type 1 Bug 1966 Thru 1977 (Does Not Fit Super Beetle)
Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 1966 Thru 1974
Note:
1966 Thru 1968 Vehicles Will Require 1969 And Later Tie Rod Ends At The Spindle
1966 Thru 1968 Vehicles Will Require 1969 And Later Inner Wheel Bearing And Seal
Must Use With 15" Wheels Or Larger
All Bearing Races Must Be Pressed Into Rotors
This Kit Is For Vw Type 1 Ball Joint Vehicles
WILL NOT WORK ON SUPER BEETLES
Use DOT3 Brake Fluid Only
Warning: It Is Extremely Important That Brake Kits & Brake Lines Be Installed By A Trained Mechanic. Proper Length Of Each Line In Relation To Wheel Travel And Steering Angle Is Critical To Avoid Brake Failure. Equally Important Is Brake Lines Must Be Free Flowing And Have No Contamination. Additionally, All Calipers Must Be Bled Properly, Regardless Of Kit Purchased. Do Not Attempt Brake Line Or Caliper Installation Without The Experience To Properly Evaluate All these Issues.
