Very Good + (VG+) -Some visible surface wear, very
minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will
still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or
initials, etc.) but otherwise clean. Jacket has minor signs of wear such as
light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing. Corners may have
small creases or fraying.
Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may
have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches. generally
still a great playing copy. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish.
Jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or
corners.
Good (G) - Well-played, dull, grayish vinyl with
deeper scratches and wear causing surface noise (hisses, pops, cracks). The
record will still play through without any skips. jacket has alot of wear and
some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker
residue, etc
Poor (P) - Unless the record is particularly rare, I
would not try to sell a record in this condition. There will be major noise,
surface damage, deep scratches, and skips.
