Software Update Info: These units have a modified firmware setting that increases their audio input sensitivity by about 14dB from the original factory-delivered configuration. This allows them to be driven to full output by a nominal -10dBv signal source if desired. That change also means that they will peak if fed a signal above approx. +8dBu even when set to their lowest input sensitivity menu setting.
If you are familiar with these G2 transmitters, if you typically run your IEM transmitters on their factory-default -8dB setting on the menu, these units would need to be set to their -24dB menu setting to achieve similar output. In actual use, this change makes the units work better with a wider range of audio input signals but it does mean if you prefer to slam very hot signals out of your monitor mixer, you will need to either drop the signal down a bit there (or if you have a processor/eq/compressor between the mixer and the IEM transmitter, pad the signal down a bit there).
More info: Compatible with all generations of Evolution Wireless In-Ear Monitor Bodypack Receivers (1st Generation, G2, G3) that operate on Sennheiser's B band. EW300IEM systems may also be used for high quality wireless stereo audio transmission in applications where audio wiring is impossible or impractical. For applications requiring mono audio, the audio transmitted by this unit may also be received by any Evolution Wireless B-band wireless mic receiver (EK100, EM100, EK500, etc.).
If you need both of these and are going to use them with an antenna combiner, I'll gladly ship these with rackmount hardware instead of with the antennas and power supplies.
