Wonderful, prized early Schuco 2005 wind-up car with balloon toting mouse driver in original box.

Desirable soft jade green color, bright red seat. Gray mouse is likely steel (magnet sticks) covered in felt and holding a yellow and red hard plastic balloon. When you wind this guy up, he will either drive away in a straight line or around in circles, depending on how you position the front wheels. As the car moves, he raises and lowers his arms, waving his happy balloon.

Key included. 
(Possibly original, but I'm not certain. The former owner says this is the key she believes came with this toy when her mother brought it from Germany in the early 1950s., but it does not say 'Schuco' on it. I'm not sure if the earliest keys were imprinted this way or not.)

Amazing condition for a 70+ year mechanical old toy! Excellent working order. Winds well, drives well, turns well, and goes straight well too. 

The body is in excellent condition with no dents, but a few fleabite sized surface rust spots on the green portion of the body paint. The underside has no rust, only a few surface scratches. Please see photos for details. More photos are available upon request.

The mouse, balloon and car interior are all in excellent condition.

All parts are original, including paint. There has been no restoration.

Original box has tears, a peeling area and 2 missing flaps on one end. Both ends have been torn off, but one end is present, just not attached. More photos available if requested.
