This premium solar charging kit is designed for use with Photonic Universe solar panels ranging from 180W- 300W (solar panel sold separately) and includes all the items required for creating and installing a highly efficient solar system.

The kit includes:

The high efficiency solar charge controller included in this kit uses the most advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology to track the maximum power voltage point of solar panels as it varies depending on sunlight exposure and temperature. This technology ensures the maximum efficiency of your solar system and significantly outperforms standard PWM solar controllers.

The controller features a comprehensive set of electronic protection functions such as stopping reverse current at night (from the battery back to the solar panel), automatic cut off to prevent over-charging and deep discharge, over voltage, over load, short circuit and reverse polarity protection. This controller also offers numerous possibilities for system personalisation. For instance, you can specify the duration and voltage of each charging stage, create a user-defined battery type with charging parameters specific to your battery, or personalise the load settings - e.g. set timers for lighting, fans, pumps. Other features include LED indicators and an audible fault alarm.

The kit / controller comes with a remote LCD meter with 5m cable. This meter can display the state of charge of the battery and various charging parameters such as voltage and current. It can also record accumulated battery capacity and min / max values reached over time.

This kit includes 4 corner brackets and 4 side brackets for fixing the solar panel to a flat surface. The brackets can be bonded to the surface using an appropriate sealant (not included).

Perfect for getting cables from outside (roof, boat deck, etc.) to the inside and keeping the place fully waterproof. It's ideal for mounting solar panels on vehicles and boats, as well as other installations on buildings, garages, sheds etc.This cable entry gland is suitable for any cable with diameter 6-12mm. It can be used for a double or single cable entry (plugs for cable holes are included).

This kit includes a pair of 5m 4mm single core solar extension cables which are specially designed for solar panels to carry high current with negligible power loss. It comes with waterproof MC4 connectors ("male" on one lead, "female" on the other lead) which can be easily connected to similar MC4-type connectors coming with most solar panels. This 5m extension is ideal for solar panels which only include 0.9 - 1.0m solar cable by default. 

The following 5m 6.0mm fused dual core battery cable is included in the kit:

The set also includes this heavy duty double core 5m cable with a 6.0mm2 cross section, fitted with a 20A fuse, fuse holder and 8mm ring terminals, for use between the solar charge controller and your battery, with negligible power loss.

Installation:

Installation is easy: holes should be drilled in each bracket in the designated places, then brackets should be put on the solar panel frame and corresponding holes marked and then drilled (smaller diameter) in the solar panel frame; then brackets should be fixed to the solar panel using self-tapping screws (not included). Finally, while brackets are fixed to the solar panel they should be bonded to the roof using an appropriate sealant or adhesive (not included). Any extension cables can then be fed through the cable entry gland which then should be bonded to the roof in the same way as brackets.

    Delivery:

    • Please note that import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. If the courier requires payment of these local charges to complete the delivery, they will be your responsibility as a buyer.

In an unlikely event of any damage in transit, please report it to us immediately by email or phone, but in any case not later than 7 days after receipt of the item. To enable us to deal with the courier efficiently, we might ask you for some additional details, e.g. photographs or the damage and packaging.

    Returns:

    • If you change your mind in the first 30 days after receipt of the item, we will be happy to accept it back and refund your payment. You need to notify us via email / phone within 30 days of receipt that you intend to return the item, request the return address and send the item back within a further 14 days at your cost. To be eligible for a full refund, the item must be new, unused, undamaged and correctly packaged. Please do ensure we receive the item in the same perfectly new condition, e.g. take reasonable care to wrap it and protect on the way back to us.

    Warranty:
