Light blue under glaze stencil which reads ORIGINAL HOFFMAN HOUSE RYE WHISKEY H. F. CORBIN & CO. CINCINNATI.

Would have been a wholesale liquor dealer, saloon or distillery givaway sample to its best customers maybe at Christmas or New Year.

Pretty typical for condition, I see no real signs of damage, one tiny pin prick on lip edge, thats it, very clean overall, lettering is pretty strong, would be hard to improve upon.

Very pretty glaze colorations, cream or oatmeal color for the main body, dark brown shoulder and handle, has a light tan colored sloppy band between the cream and brown top which adds some colorful character - check it out !!!

Height is about 3 inches, upward taper on jug which makes it wider at the shoulders than the base.
