This scarce large format camera was made from 1893-1904 and was discontinued in 1905. The visible hole in the back of the camera is 8 3/4" square. Since this camera came in 3¼x4¼; 4x5; 4¼x6½; 5x7; 5x8; 6½x8½; 8x10; 10x12; 11x14; 14x17; 17x20, I suspect that this was the 6½x8½ model.
This scarce antique camera is for parts or repair. What you see pictured is all that is included. It does not come with a lens or back, although it does come with a lens board. Hole diameter is 56.8mm. The bellows are completely dried out and have cracked completely through. Quality replacements are readily available. The wood on the front above where the lens board would mount has pitting/finish bubbling on it. The wood everywhere else is in nice condition with a few scuff marks and scratches on it. As far as we can tell all of the brass knobs and fittings are present.
