TS-450S, TS-690S  Replacement Capacitor kit, Audio output stage.

This is a set of high reliability aluminium radial leaded electrolytics to replace the coupling capacitors in the audio output stages on the TS-450 and  TS690 I.F. PCB.

Capacitor failure in the audio output stages is the most common fault on these 2 rigs.
The original parts used are marginally rated and are prone to leakage of electrolyte. Once the old capacitors are removed the PCB needs to be cleaned to remove any traces of electrolye which is highly corrosive.
The PCB should be inspected carefully at each capacitor location for exposed copper, check all plated thru holes in the vicinity of these capacitors for possible damage.

The Panasonic/Nichicon electrolytic capacitors supplied in this kit have the same diameter and lead pitch as the original parts used.
These are modern high reliability parts each of which has a higher voltage rating and working temperature of >2000hours/105 deg C.
