BMW EGR bypass removal kit for 150KW (204bhp) and 160KW (218bhp) 3 liter diesel engines (engine code M57N). Fits:
- BMW 330d - 150kw - years 2003-2005
- BMW 530d - 160kw - years 2003-2005 (only if car originally came without Diesel Particle Filter)
- BMW 730d - 160kw - years 2003-2005
- BMW X3 3.0d - 150kw - years 2003 - 2005
- BMW X5 3.0d - 160kw - years 2003-2005 (only if car originally came without Diesel Particle Filter)
EGR bypass is made from high grade aluminum
with dimensions exactly as stock EGR valve which means very easy
fitting. Base plate made from 12mm aluminum for increased strength. New
original BMW gasket for proper sealing with manifold is provided and new
bolts supplied.
Once fitted this bypass will improve air
flow to the engine and give more power, more torque, reduce turbo lag
and make the engine much sharper. The side part from exhaust manifold fully closed (picture No. 4) meaning only fresh air is getting into intake manifold. And it will prevent carbon build up in intake manifold, improve air flow and reduce the amount of black smoke under full throttle.
After fitting EGR bypass to some of these engines check engine light will come up. This can be easily solved with additional coding or when remapping.

Before buying we advise to visually check if your original EGR valve looks like this bypass. If your car has DPF (diesel particle filter) or throttle valve then this EGR bypass will not fit.
