Pair of Satsuma style Japanese vases with raised enamel decoration depicting 3 figures and a dragon with floral decoration to the backs. The vases measure 9.75 inches high X 5.5 inches diameter at widest part and are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Each vase has some rubbing to the gilded areas and a firing fault as seen in the last 2 pictures, the first shows a raised area of clay which is not enamelled to one vase and the second where there is loss of decoration just above the white enamelled area on the other vase. Impressed made in Japan to the base rims and signed to bases.

I always obtain proof of posting which covers items for loss or damage to the value of £20.00. Items above the value of £20 will be sent by recorded delivery £1.10 or International Signed for £5.30 whichever is applicable and these charges will be added to the invoice at auction end. I do combine multiple purchases whenever possible to reduce postage costs. I no longer offer surface mail for overseas buyers due to the length of time it takes for delivery.
