Approximate model year: 1984..... Hondo model H-790.

I've owned this guitar for a number of years and have taken great care of it.
Always kept in the case with humidification. Not perfect but in great shape for the age.

One small chip on the back corner someone touched up with red ink (could be easily concealed with appropriate paint) 2 small chips on bottom side, very faint scratch near strap holder on top and very faint scratch on bottom side (camera would not pick up this one)...see pictures. I'm not offering returns on this item because there is nothing to hide and it is a great guitar. Selling it because of a cash crunch.

The pickup is not original but it sounds great.
I don't know what model # this pickup is but it is a Seymour Duncan.
Split coil push/pull knob - bass/reverb knob, volume knob.

Plays great...nice setup...frets in great condition...no issues. Cleaned and re-stung regularly....I play it every day. D'Addario 10's installed 12FEB17 (with an E-Tenor banjo string on the high-E).

Original case in good condition for the age but the lock may have to be replaced if want it to lock up. (sorry...no key).

Comes with copies of magazine articles about Lazer guitars from the 80's.

If you want to see Johnny Winter playing a Red Lazer go to "Johnny Winter - Highway 61 - Denmark 1984" on YouTube where he is using one to play slide guitar.

Practice EVERYDAY!!
