This porcelain vase was produced in Denmark between 1900 and 1922.  It is marked with model number 1577 over 355 with artist’s initials E.H.  The vase is 16 inches tall.  The ground color shades from nearly white at the bottom to pale cream at the top.  The painting is in Japanese style.  Branches of birch drift down the porcelain.  Lovely moths flutter among the leaves.  The muted colors produce a dramatic, almost mystical effect.  This is an example of excellent artistry for which Royal Copenhagen has been known..

CONDITION:  Excellent first quality with no defects.
