Condition: The condition of pieces like this is largely redundant, they'll usually have signs of wear, repairs, and stories to tell from fabulous events! These pieces are too rare to be defined by condition alone.

Overall Excellent condition. A small repair has been done where the lowest button begins, but this is not noticeable, it has been well repaired. Tiny area of slight reddening on the neckline, but not noticeable. Some gold stitching is missing in places, but it's not noticeable on a dress of this complexity. A tear towards the bottom on the back (most likely from a heel) has also been repaired in gold thread to match the original stitching, again this has been done to a good standard - see picture 5 - it's practically non existent as viewed from the outside.

No major marks or damage, this dress is in Great condition for nearly 90 years old!
